Purpose

« Tips » is a tipping sharing system. It offers a BtoB, BtoC service. These general terms aim to define the terms and conditions of use of the services offered, as well as to define the rights and obligations of the parties within this framework. They may be supplemented, if necessary, by specific terms of use for certain services. In case of contradiction, the specific conditions prevail over these general conditions.

Service

« Tips » is a service company, registered in Dubai under the name of UGM LLC. Contact via email: support@tips-uae.com. Tips offers companies or individuals the possibility to leave a tip according to a defined service or not. Any access and use of this service implies compliance with the CGUS by the end User. The Service is accessible, subject to the restrictions provided on the application, to any natural person approved by the Company, employee, or client. The User must be of legal age and have full legal capacity to commit under these general terms. The user who does not accept to be bound by these general conditions must not use the Service.

Registration

The user must register on the mobile application by filling out the form. They must provide all mandatory information. Any incomplete registration will not be validated. Registration automatically entails the opening of an account in the name of the User, allowing them to manage their use of the Service. The user guarantees that all information provided in the registration form is accurate. They undertake to update this information in case of modifications, so that it always corresponds to the required criteria. Upon validation, the end user is thus committed. They become responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and undertake to use the Service personally and not to allow any third party to use them on their behalf or for their account, except at their full responsibility.

The end user then records their valid credit card number on the secure payment module. Payment will be made later.

Use

« Tips » is available via a smartphone application working on Android or iOS version. The end user will take all necessary measures to ensure access to the application via their smartphone.

Through the application, the user can:

• Modify their personal account.
• Recharge their account via a credit card.
• Contact Customer Service in case of technical issues or other problems.
• Consult their history.
• Consult the CGUS.

The user can also contact technical support to:

• Contact Customer Service at support@tips-uae.com to ask a question related to their registration, billing, account, or report a technical problem encountered on the Application.

Rates

Registration for the « Tips » Service is free. The amount of tips is chosen according to individual preferences and means.

Obligations

The User must be of legal age, in accordance with these terms.

Responsibilities

« Tips » will in no way be liable for damages that may be caused by the unavailability or malfunctioning of the Service or its application. The provision of the Service and the execution of these CGUS constitute only an obligation of means for « Tips ». The user accepts that the use of the Service may be temporarily unavailable and that the responsibility of « Tips » cannot be engaged, especially in the following cases:

• Misuse or malfunction of the Internet network.
• Computer viruses transmitted over the Internet.
• Interruption of services accessible on the Internet network.
• Transmission of radio-electric signals affected by the constraints or limits of the technical standards imposed on radiotelephony operators by regulatory authorities or competent normative groups.
• Any force majeure within the meaning of the jurisprudence of the Court of Cassation.

« Tips » reserves the right to completely or partially interrupt the Service, without notice and for an indefinite period, especially in the event of exceptional circumstances such as material damage or technical breakdown.

Suspension, modification, termination

« Tips » reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the Service to a User for reasons of its own. The credit balance is maintained for the duration of the suspension.

Since the final service is non-binding, the User is free to cease using it at any time for reasons of their own, without notice, via email to support@tips-uae.com. « Tips » may terminate the registration of a final User at any time and without notice in the event that the User does not comply with the obligations imposed on them. « Tips » reserves the right to modify these general terms at any time. The end User will be informed of these modifications by any useful means. The final User who does not accept the modified general conditions must unsubscribe from the Services according to the provided modalities. Any User who uses the Service after the entry into force of the modified general conditions is deemed to have accepted these modifications. The same applies to the company under this article 9.

Personal data

Personal information collected via the Application is recorded in a computerized file. It is kept for 3 years and is intended for the User account management service. In accordance with the « data protection » law, you can exercise your right to access your data and have it rectified by contacting support@tips-uae.com.

« Tips » may use this data for direct marketing operations by sending information and commercial offers relating to the Service to the User via any means, including email or SMS. « Tips » also reserves the right to use this data for direct marketing operations. At any time, the User can exercise their right to object to commercial prospecting carried out by « Tips ». Under no circumstances will Users’ personal data be transferred or marketed to third parties.
